Modernizing legacy through thousands of contextual tools … per system - Tudor Girba | Craft 2025

The most expensive programming activity is not producing code. It’s trying to make sense of it to decide what to do next. This is particularly visible in a legacy environment. The problem is not the amount of time we spend figuring systems out. The problem is how we spend that time. In this talk we introduce and exemplify a way of programming that optimizes how we read our systems through contextual tools. Thousands of them … per system. We call it Moldable Development. Read more about it at: https://moldabledevelopment.com This talk was recorded at Craft Conference 2025. The event was organized by CraftHub.
