Exploring the rugged Crooked River Canyon and camping at the Chimney Rock BLM Campground near Prineville, OR. The Crooked River twists it’s way through a canyon containing steep cliffs and multiple layers of volcanic basalt with rocks of greatly varying shapes and sizes. The Chimney Rock Campground has nine campsites that are all located right next to river providing a great place to see this scenic location.
