Living kidney donation saves lives, yet many people remain uncertain about what it truly involves. This one-hour session will explore the facts and dispel common myths surrounding living kidney donation, while highlighting the profound impact of generosity through real-life stories. Special guests include Living Donor Coordinator, Registered Nurse, Michele McDade of Horizon Health, New Brunswick, and living donor Élise Desaulniers. Participants will gain clinical insight alongside personal perspective. Together, the speakers will discuss the donor journey while centering the human experience behind the decision to give. This session aims to inform, inspire, and foster meaningful conversations about living donation in Canada.
