I spent a delightful afternoon slowly unwrapping the French vintage objets I recently brought home from Yeonnam-dong. 🕊️ Rather than plating food, I find myself far more at home with visual styling that captures the deep, inherent essence of objects. Crafting a mise-en-scène that feels like a still-life painting brings me immense joy. Every time I discover a shop that aligns perfectly with my taste, my heart swells with excitement—though I am now faced with the happily bittersweet dilemma of having no room left in my atelier for new pieces. Throughout the unboxing, Cheetah and Puma stayed right by my side, turning the rustling wrapping paper and shopping bags into their own little toys. In the midst of it all, our timid and sassy Director Cheetah would needlessly vent her fickle temper on Puma, but Puma—the true gentle giant—never loses his spirit and always follows his big sister around with love. They are just so adorable! I can’t even handle it! I was also deeply grateful to be invited to the opening reception of a solo exhibition by Professor Chan-soo Hwang, my graduate school advisor and mentor. The gallery was filled with a powerful yet clear aura radiating from his artwork, and the atmosphere completely captivated my heart. For those who appreciate paintings that resonate with the rhythm of light and color, I highly recommend visiting.
