The Daebon 3-ri Breakwater, located in Daebon 3-ri, Gampo-eup, Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, is one of the many breakwater fishing spots along the East Coast. It's just another typical East Coast breakwater, unremarkable in shape or size. Nevertheless, most regulars consider the Daebon 3-ri Breakwater a truly special fishing spot. They appreciate its unique appeal, as it allows them to encounter fish rarely seen at other breakwaters along the East Coast. The "special target" that makes the Daebon 3-ri Breakwater such a special fishing spot is none other than the starfish. Upon closer inspection, it's clear that starfish are not a common target fish in many places. However, this doesn't mean that the Daebon 3-ri Breakwater is only good for special target fishing. The East Coast breakwater fishing is also excellent for catching representative fish species, such as red sea bream, cuttlefish, sea bass, rockfish, anchovies, flatfish, and mullet... but I don't understand why there are fewer visitors compared to other nearby breakwater fishing spots.
