It's a hormonal map that your body draws to tell you which hormone is out of balance. And the problem is that routine exams don't tell this story. The doctor orders a fasting blood glucose test and it comes back "normal," but no one orders a fasting insulin test, an insulin curve, active T3 levels, or evaluates the cortisol that's keeping you on high alert all day. So you remain in the dark, trying to lose weight with generic strategies that sometimes worsen your case, because each hormonal archetype requires a different approach. Eating too little for someone with a slow metabolism, for example, is one of the worst mistakes you can make. Fat forms when the body senses it has excess energy, but WHERE it goes is defined by your predominant hormone. Belly fat around the navel points to cortisol.
