(Part 2/3) Cycling the #PamirHighway! A real adventure in the mountains of #Tajikistan! The #WakhanValley is the border between #Afghanistan and Tajikistan. For days we continue cycling along the Panj river and we can wave to Afghan families on the other side of the river. Just before we leave the Wakhan Valley, things get pretty rough. A mountain pass with 4344 meters in altitude and the following plateau are almost turning into a trap: All the lakes and waters contain salt and we can't find any drinking water...
