Sabar performance in Tivaouane, Senegal by Mbengue ensemble

Sabar & tama concert in the night of 2018 April 11-12 in Tivaouane, Senegal. Solo performances of the Mbengue brothers OMAR SECK and ABDUL KARIM playing the rhythms of their late father, accompanied by their family ensemble. Guest artists and dancers from "ballet national du Senegal" were also present. Omar Seck currently lives in the Netherlands where he teaches West-African drums (djembe, sabar, tama, balafon, dundun), Abdul Karim leads the family ensemble "Groupe Griots Mbengue" that performs internationally.
