In this episode of Our Patriots’ Legacies, the Stephen Holston Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution presents Part 1 of a special Liberty Tree Dedication Ceremony held in Loudon County, Tennessee, on May 23rd. Liberty Trees were among the earliest symbols of American resistance—gathering places where colonists united in protest against British rule beginning in 1765. Though the original tree in Boston was destroyed in 1775, its legacy lived on as new Liberty Trees were adopted across the colonies as enduring symbols of freedom. Today, that tradition continues. This episode highlights the significance of the Liberty Tree program and offers a look into a modern-day dedication ceremony that honors the sacrifices of those who fought for American independence. 🔔 Be sure to subscribe for more episodes of Our Patriots’ Legacies as we commemorate America 250. 📍 Stephen Holston Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution 📅 Filmed May 23, 2026 – Loudon County, Tennessee #LibertyTree #SAR #OurPatriotsLegacies #America250 #AmericanRevolution #TennesseeHistory #Patriotism
