Review and Test Drive of a 2006 Aston Martin Volante and an Update on the Coming Channel Changes
Aston Martin has a rich and troubled history, with many milestones, many successes, and lot of bankruptcies. It has been owned by a wide array of people and organizations, and never really found its financial footing, never mind quality control, until Ford bought them in 1991. The sea change really came in 2000 when Ulrich Bez was put in charge of the company, as he transformed it from a cottage industry in to a genuine world class maker of niche automobiles. By 2007, they had sold 7000 cars in a year, an incredible number for them based on past production. This 2006 DB9 Volante was a product of Bez's transformation. Full review and test drive. Also in this video, I cover some of the changes coming to this channel, and where it's going from here.
