It all started with one tiny rock. A sharp little piece of reef gold that absolutely should not have been on that mountain… and it sent us into a 5-day frenzy through the Far North. We chased a rumoured rich gold reef hidden somewhere in the hills above our heads — climbing, digging, detecting, and following every trace we could find. But what brad found, no one saw coming! But the story didn’t end there… because the old Chinese workings told another story entirely.
