Find out all about Heritage Series Grandeur!    • REAL 2022 Hyundai Grandeur (Azera) EV – "H...   Above updated on Nov 25, 2021 ARTICLE: Hyundai has revealed the Heritage Series PONY, a retro-modern reconstruction of the original mass-produced PONY model that heralded the dawn of Korea’s automotive industry more than 45 years ago. Featured at the recently opened Hyundai Motorstudio Busan in South Korea as part of its ‘Reflections in Motion’ exhibition, from April 8 through June 27, the Heritage Series PONY combines distinctive legacy design features with modern touches to offer a glimpse of the future. Legendary automobile designer Giorgetto Giugiaro conceived the first generation of PONY. The PONY was an icon of personal mobility created by Hyundai during its mass production from 1975-1990. The hatchback car was the nation’s first mass-produced and exported vehicle. More than 45 years later, the timeless value of the original PONY is visible in the new Heritage Series PONY, shown as part of the ‘Heritage Series – PONY’ section of the ‘Reflections in Motion’ exhibition. INFO found on Hyudai Motorstudio Busan: Manufactured in 1975, the Pony heralded the beginning of the Korean automotive industry. The concept of timeless value has always been at the core of both exterior and interior design throughout the brand history since the first Pony. The cluster of Heritage Series – PONY is a combination of the classic feel and craftsmanship of the glass elements and modernity of LEDs. The door design of the 1975 Pony is reinterpreted into a very modern design by using premium materials and mood lighting while keeping original’s classic beauty. The Last Mile Mobility in the trunk represents Hyundai’s quest for smart mobility solutions – human-centered design. The front headlights are a homage to the pixel and the 8bit graphics of the 1970s and 80s. The “Pixel Roadtrip” is directly inspired by this design, concentrating and playing with the reduced momentum of the black-and-white pixel animation on its pure surface, and using it as a light source guiding us through that journey. Ever-changing patterns of colored pixel combinations with variable properties such as scale and movement create a graphical stage for the Heritage Series–PONY, a true hero of its era. *Please subscribe and have notifications on for fast and precise reviews on newly released Genesis, Hyundai and Kia! 🙏 Instagram:   / carscenekorea   Facebook:   / carscenekorea   Google Calendar link to Car Events in Korea: https://bit.ly/2lHoFhA #HyundaiPonyEV #PonyEV #HeritageSeriesPonyEV #CarSceneKorea #CSK
