How DIVINE WISDOM is the TRUE SPIRITUAL BREAD!

Learn from Torah Parashah "Emor" about the different references to spiritual bread and how the ancient scriptures depicted DIVINE WISDOM as the TRUE SPIRITUAL BREAD and what that means for us today! Wisdom (the Spiritual Bread referred to in this week's new Emor video) is conveyed in ancient scriptures as a living, almost personified reality—first, feminine, creative, and Divine! From Proverbs... “Say to (chokmah) wisdom, ‘You are my sister,’ and call (Binah) understanding your kinswoman.” — Proverbs 7:4 “The LORD possessed me at the beginning of his way… before his works of old.” — Proverbs 8:22 “I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning… when there were no depths, I was brought forth.” — Proverbs 8:23–24 “When he prepared the heavens, I was there… then I was beside him, as a master craftsman.” — Proverbs 8:27–30 “Wisdom has built her house; she has hewn out her seven pillars.” — Proverbs 9:1 She says, “Come, eat of my bread and drink of the wine I have mixed” — Book of Proverbs 9:5 “Happy is the one who finds wisdom… she is more precious than rubies.” — Proverbs 3:13–15 “Exalt her, and she will promote you.” — Proverbs 4:8 From Job... “Where shall wisdom be found?… God understands the way to it.” — Job 28:12, 23 From Wisdom of Solomon... “Wisdom… penetrates and pervades all things… she is a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty.” (i.e. an emanation of the feminine Shekinah glory)— Wisdom 7:24–25 “Wisdom is a breath of the power of God… a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty.” — Wisdom 7:25 “She is the brightness of the everlasting light.” — Wisdom 7:26 “She passes into holy souls and makes them friends of God.” — Wisdom 7:27 “She reaches from one end of the earth to the other, and she orders all things well.” — Wisdom 8:1 From Sirach (Ecclesiasticus)... “I came forth from the mouth of the Most High… I covered the earth like a mist.” — Sirach 24:3 “He created me from the beginning before the world, and I shall never fail.” — Sirach 24:9 “Come unto me, all you who desire me, and be filled with my fruits.” — Sirach 24:19 “Those who eat me will hunger for more, and those who drink me will thirst for more.” — Sirach 24:21 From Early Jewish writings... “Wisdom (Chokmah) is the first of His works.” — echoed from Proverbs 8 “The righteous feed on the splendor of the Shekhinah.” (the feminine aspect of the Divine references as Wisdom is also) — Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai We hope this deeper level teaching of parashah Emor from Leviticus 21-24 blesses you in your spiritual understanding and growth!
