Or rather, they only connected briefly, and with very poor sound quality. Then the connection dropped, and the entire setup would have had to be started all over again. That's when the thought occurred to us: If only the simplest things really work well anyway – wouldn't a very basic, inexpensive device, perhaps even from a no-name manufacturer, suffice? We decided to find out.
