I actually set up and compared a Unigear hexagonal tarp (TC material) and an ORIGEM rectangular tarp (ripstop fabric, black coating). Rather than saying one is better or worse than the other, I think the choice depends on the number of people, camping style, season, and weather. 😊 In my experience, there wasn't a big difference in setup time, and both have their own merits.
