ABC Data Collection in ABA Made Simple

Why does a behavior keep happening… even when the reason is not obvious? In this video, I walk through ABC data collection in a simple, practical way. You’ll learn how to look at the context around behavior by identifying the antecedent, behavior, and consequence, and why that matters when you’re trying to understand patterns. The video also explains setting events and shows two common ways to collect ABC data. Then we walk through a parent example so you can see what ABC data collection might actually look like at home when a child throws toys and a caregiver starts tracking what happened before and after each incident. If you're a BCBA, RBT, student, or parent trying to better understand behavior, this is one of the most useful starting points. Operational Definitions Guide: https://shop.masteraba.academy/operat...
