The "Absolute Best" One-Day Itinerary This schedule assumes a typical 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM cruise docking window Pro tip ✅ Skip the ship's expensive bus. Use the Grab App (it’s the "Uber" of SE Asia) or grab a taxi at the pier. It's a 35-minute drive to Oriental Village. Pro tip ✅ Arrive early! The lines can get massive by 11:00 AM. Buy your tickets online in advance to skip the main ticket office queue. Take the cable car to the Middle Station for photos, then continue to the Top Station (708m above sea level). From the Top Station, take the SkyGlide (cabin lift) down to the bridge to save time and energy, or walk the 10-minute nature trail if you're feeling fit. Head back down. Your ticket usually includes the SkyDome (360-degree cinema) and SkyRex (4D ride). They take about 15-20 mins each. Grab some satay or local Malay food in the Oriental Village.
