1963 GM Frigidaire Custom Imperial Washer
For your viewing pleasure - the 1963 General Motors Frigidaire Custom Imperial Sturdy washer. Minty fresh machine, originally came from sunny California. At some point in it's life, the original 1963/1964 pulsator was replaced with a generic late 60's Deep Action agitator. Either way, it's still a fun machine to use. The 1963 model washers were the last of the 'clamshell' panels, dating from 1961 through early '64. This particular year the panel did not fold down like the prior '61 models. This washer also features the simplified Multi-Matic belt-drive transmission, which works perfectly. Enjoy! For more vintage appliance fun, make sure you check out www.automaticwasher.org.
