【2人 Duet】Shanti (シャンティ) [Metal Cover] Wotaku ft. @yourmother90000 @kanalia_s

A random thought went through my head when listening to Gero's cover, what if Shanti had metal and orchestral elements along with belts and screams? From that, this crazy arrangement was born. I knew I had to get Vic on board with this because his tone and screams perfectly matched what I was looking for, but he couldn't get the really fast rap bits. So it was a perfect opportunity to get someone who would compliment and contrast his vocals and Lia absolutely killed it! Also a huge shoutout to the duo for recording all of the extra doubles, whispers ad libs and screams, the arrangement would not have turned out as great as it did without all of their effort. Kamaboko went above and beyond with the art, I was in awe when they sent it to me. The intensity and atmosphere of the art was fit so well with what I was looking for. And last but not least, the MV. When I had finished the arrangement, I was wondering who I could get for the MV and was coming up empty for a bit. Then, Raina reached out to me that she had been really wanting to work on the song for two years but she had never gotten requested for it. I was perfectly happy to fulfil her wish and the aesthetic she went with was so amazing I was looping it for a while before I responded back. Thank you to the whole team for working with me!!
