Sonos Play

Sonos quietly revived the Play brand with a new medium-sized portable speaker, and I went in expecting to be underwhelmed. I already have a Move 2 that I love but rarely take anywhere because it's too big and heavy, and the Roam has never quite done it for me. So when the $299 Play landed right in the middle of the lineup, I needed to know if it actually fills the gap or if it's just another speaker I'll forget about. In this video I cover how the Play compares to the Roam and Move 2 on size, sound, and price, what it's actually like using it in my backyard, the new buttons and charging dock, the Bluetooth multi-speaker pairing, why two Plays might be a smarter buy than one Move 2, and the one durability issue I have with every Sonos portable. Spoiler, I ended up way more impressed than I expected.
