¿Queda algo? La estación que desapareció bajo la selva bonaerense

We explored the Carlos Lemeé Station, located in the district of Exaltación de la Cruz. This station belongs to Branch CC of the General Belgrano Railway, a meter-gauge line that remains operational for freight transport. From the first level crossing between Route 6 and the station yard, we documented the contrast between a devastated railway site and a stunning natural environment: Station yard condition: The station is in extreme disrepair. Heritage: The signal box is completely destroyed and looted. Living History: We remember the passage of the emblematic Silver Ribbon Train and the final, historic passage of the Solidarity Train in 2022. A video about the current state of our railways, where the slow but noisy passage of long freight trains from Trenes Argentinos Cargas coexists with the silence of the destroyed buildings.
