Ristar on Game Gear is Very Impressive!
Ristar was released for the Sega Genesis in early 1995 developed by Sonic Team/Sega and a month or so later for the Game Gear developed by Japan System House (same devs that did Streets of Rage for Game Gear) Being a very late Game Gear game it would have been overlooked (at the time) but looking back at it now it's amazing how well they got this game to run on the old 8-bit portable. Graphics and Gameplay are top notch and the music ain't half bad all things considered. Overall this is a very good port and one of the best looking and playing games on the Game Gear!
