Layout & Format Of The Lead Sheet In this course, we start by exploring the layout and format of lead sheets. You’ll learn how to interpret the melody and harmony, beginning with the first 8 bars of “Moon River”. Triads, 7th Chords, & Spread Voicings You’ll learn to play basic triads and understand their role in jazz harmony. We’ll examine the harmony of “Moon River”, highlighting how most chords are derived from the C major scale.
