100 Jahre Falkensee - Der Film

One hundred years ago, the two neighboring villages of Falkenhagen and Seegefeld merged to form the municipality of Falkensee. No one could have foreseen the remarkable development that awaited these two places in the years to come. In 1961, what was then the largest rural municipality in Germany was granted city status. After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, the city continued its rapid population growth, and the cityscape and infrastructure changed dramatically. In this centenary year of 2023, we look back on the past years, on the stories and experiences that shaped Falkensee and life in the city. We invite you to enjoy a diverse anniversary year, organized by the institutions of the city of Falkensee as well as Falkensee's clubs, initiatives, and businesses.
