Beginning at the age of two, she began studying flower arrangement under her grandmother, Riharu Hattori, founder of the Koryu Toyokai school, and her mother, Riho Miyamoto, the second-generation head of the school. She has participated in the Ikebana International World Championship and the Japan Ikebana Art Exhibition since her university days. In 2009, she became the deputy head of the Koryu Toyokai Ink-Wash Flower Ceremony. Since then, she has been active overseas, including being invited to the Republic of Tunisia, Africa, the Janadria Festival in Saudi Arabia, and the "Spirit of Japan" international festival hosted by the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory, where she gave demonstrations in Moscow, Russia. She has received the Jury Special Award at the All-Japan Ikebana Competition, among other awards. She is a full member of the Ikebana Art Association and a member of Ikebana International.
