Amongst the bells: Tonbridge, Kent
An extract from a quarter of spliced surprise major, rung at Tonbridge, Ss Peter and Paul on 9th July 2022 Whilst a few of the bells aren't as tuneful, the combination of all 8 pack a rather boomy, old fashioned grunt an. They take a bit of working, but once settled with a good rhythm, they are rather lovely and very rewarding. This quarter was a joy to ring in!
