Over R650,000 raised for Sander's coffee machine

It started as a small act of kindness: R5,000 to replace a stolen coffee machine. It's ended with R686,000 raised and a national conversation about generosity, integrity and the men and women who serve. When Hawks Warrant Officer Karl Sander told the Madlanga Commission that his coffee machine, his "only safe space", had been stolen from his own office, South Africans responded in a way no one predicted.
