Greetings to all who clicked on the video, Today far away from the big trains, Riding the century old route of Gaikwad's between Billimora and Waghai. Situated in Gujarat, India, the Billimora Waghai Narrow Gauge Railway is a historically significant railway line. It was built during the period of British colonization and was a crucial means of journey for locals and visitors alike. The tribal people of the area including the tourist to Waghai and Saputara with the devotee's of Unai Mata makes the old rail route alive..!! During British administration in India in the late 1800s, work on the Billimora Waghai Narrow Gauge railway began. The railway's main objective was to make it easier for commodities from the Dang region to be transported to the terminal town of Billimora for further shipping, including timber and agricultural products. Later after formation of India Railways, Western Railways a zone for the western part of the corner took place which undertook the responsibility of the route...Few years back it was closed but keeping the worries of tribals in mind , After some maintainance the route was reopened for the people. Also a rail enthusiast like me in search of this unique rail system found this a great route to explore the charm..!!
