Welcome & Torch Lighting Ceremony || June 30, 2023 at 9:00am

The Torch lighting ceremony has become one of the most anticipated events on the Glenmuir calendar. It fosters a sense of belonging for the students who were successful in their Primary Examination Profile (PEP) assessment, and brings them into a greater understanding of the values and goals of this prestigious school. This is the fourth staging in as many years, and amidst the threat of COVID-19 and the upheaval it has caused to our varying government and private sector modes of operation, we are happy to say that we still believe in the social development of our children in the environment foster by our school. We are glad to have as torchbearers for this staging, Mr. Textal Christie, alumnus, past acting vice principal, Ms. Tawera Williams, 4H Jingle Competition Parish winner, and Mr. Khaleel Hawkes, highest PEP result entering our borders. Our principal, Marsha Smalling, PhD, J.P., would like to thank you all for you presence and, of course, congratulate all successful PEP students. She extends her best wishes and prays hat your dream, be they all dreams of purpose, and prays that they be undergirded by God, fervor and a continuously unrelenting pursuit of excellence.
