We Grow 80% of Our Food… But Still Buy These Things
Want to build a homestead that actually feeds your family? Join our homesteading course here: https://www.alisorganics.com/collecti... We grow and raise about 80% of our food here on our half-acre homestead, but one question we get all the time is: what do we still buy? In this video, I’m sharing the pantry staples and ingredients we still bring into our home — things like wheat and flour, Real Salt, organic raw sugar, olive oil, baking supplies, spices, citrus, and a few other items we still use in our from-scratch kitchen. Some of these things are important. Some help us preserve food, cook from scratch, or make better use of what we already grow and raise. Others are things we could live without if we needed to. This is the real side of self-sufficiency. It does not mean never buying anything again. It means building a food system where the foundation of what feeds your family comes from home. We do this on half an acre by growing intensely, growing with purpose, preserving the harvest, raising animals, cooking from scratch, and making every space count. Thanks for watching and supporting our homestead. #homesteading #selfsufficiency #halfacrehomestead #growyourownfood #foodsecurity #pantry #fromscratchcooking #preservingfood #smallhomestead #homesteadlife **************************************************************************************** 👉Links mentioned:Homesteading Course: https://www.alisorganics.com/collecti... https://buymeacoffee.com/alishomestead Resources We Use: ====================================================================== Vego Raised Bed: https://mailtrack.io/link/9f2a7eae576...
