This edit is my first AMV, so apologies if you find it a little different than the legendary works you are familiar with. Witch Hat Atelier is a dark epic, as is this song. I had this combination in my head, but had no idea it would work both lyrically and thematically. I sought to weave the narrative of Qifrey’s and Coco’s entanglement with Iguin, The Brimmed Hat, through their ink bottle. If the Knights' Captain Easthies successfully gave Coco the memory-wiping sigil, she would be free–yet haunted just like Qifrey. Instead, Coco must struggle onward, hovering between hope and despair. Will she become the very thing she fears? And Qifrey certainly isn’t through with Iguin, not by a long shot. What memories were stolen from him to drive him to such madness?
