We're checking out a Moskvich 403 at the 2026 DIM festival. I met Vladimir, the owner of this remarkable rarity, which was brought back to life while maintaining its authentic appearance. During the restoration of this Soviet car, they tried to preserve the factory color, painting only the exterior, while keeping the original paint under the hood, trunk, and other areas. Even the factory fabric interior was preserved, while the leatherette trim was replaced with modern materials. The engine also remained the same, the same one the car came with when it rolled off the assembly line in 1964.
