TUTORIAL: DIY quacker clamp

Quacker clamps, or duckbill/platypus clamps, are a staple in any grip kit. While not as versatile as spring clamps, these are made specifically for holding reflectors, shiny board, bead board, foamcore, etc. and they do it way better than any other combination of gear. Having a quacker clamp or two in your kit can really save you time on, and add value to, your productions. While these normally retail for $70+, you can make your own for around $25/clamp (and if you want to make multiple the price goes down even further!). You should be able to find all the materials at your local big box home improvement or hardware store (I picked everything up at my local Menards), but I've included some links below if you'd rather order online.
