Côte d'Ivoire : Dioulatiedougou (ODIENNÉ) | La terre d'espoir

#ivorycoast #odienne #tourism Welcome to the commune of Diouatiédougou, a sub-prefecture of the Odienné department, in the Kabadougou region. Mainly made up of Malinké people, it has an estimated 2,000 inhabitants. I chose this place, which extended its warmth to me and my wife, for its friendliness, its heritage, and its hospitality at the beginning of March. It is always a pleasure for me to discover new places and to explore further. Diouatiédougou also has green and fertile areas where cocoa, cotton, cashew nuts, yams, and many other raw and vital commodities are grown, useful for local commercial activities and beyond. A land of hope, it also boasts a school and a college, ensuring the future of our children: future leaders, executives, masons, innovators, builders, farmers, literary figures, and scientists. I also had the chance to meet some of the elders, Africa's living library. They share and tell the stories of yesterday, to those with the ears and the heart to listen. Traditional dancing, food prepared by the women, a playful parade of children, everything is done to make you never want to leave, or simply to lose yourself in the breathtaking horizon of the northwest lands. Every day, we live, we learn, we grow, we celebrate life, we celebrate tomorrow. In the region, Odienné also boasts a substantial tourist attraction that you, like me, will enjoy visiting. Among them, I would mention the Denguélé massif, a mystical sacred mountain (806 m above sea level), the hut and stele of Réné Caillet in Tiémé (located 28 kilometers from Odienné), the centuries-old mosque of Samatiguila, and much more, to amaze your eyes and fuel your dreams. From this trip, I remember a quote that Cédric Diarra shared with me: "A man without tradition is like a zebra without stripes." I invite you to honor our small villages, like our large ones; we never stop learning. My Socials -   / fakhry_nader   http://www.naderfakhry.com/
