A Real Original Nintendo Console, but how is it the size of a game cartridge? TinyNES
What if you could have an original Nintendo Entertainment System, except it was real small and real cool? Remember the NES, that 8-bit cartridge based game machine that everybody has been talking about nonstop for, like, 40 years? This classic alternative isn't just some cheap clone, but real chips from a real original Nintendo! Everything is neatly socketed and ready for a teardown and review. It's Tiny, and its an NES. Therefore, TinyNES. But the design of this console had a problem. In order to make the console with super rare RGB variants of real Nintendo chips, they added some sockets to the board that caused some problems and need to be filled with a jumper board. So, the jumper board installation is discussed too. It would be nice to have better video quality to capture game footage, but you're probably going to fail. Those RGB chips are not available right now, not even on Ebay. So you pretty much have to desolder one from a main board from an arcade machine like the Nintendo VS. System and PlayChoice-10 arcade machines,or the weird Japan exclusive Famicom Titler console from Sharp. Compatible chip numbers include all variants of RP2C03, RC2C03, and RC2C05. The RP2C04 chips are also technically supported but the output is screwed up, so don't do it. This just isn't going to happen for you, buddy. That's ok though, because overall this console is pretty neato and weird, and high quality. It costs a lot though. 0:00 What is the TinyNES 7:10 How to install jumper board inside TinyNES This video was an absolute nightmare to get together. Lots of problems, but I tried my best to record and re-record to make something comprehensible. Bonus points if you figure out which year I recorded each part. -------- SparkYo is the world's best small YouTube content creator.
