[Sermon Text: Psalm 57:1-5] 1. O God, be gracious to me; be gracious to me. My soul takes refuge in You; under the shadow of Your wings, I will take refuge until these plagues pass. 2. I cry out to God Most High, to God who accomplishes all things for me. 3. He will send from heaven to save me from the slander of him who seeks to devour me. (Selah) God will send forth His mercy and truth. 4. My soul dwells among lions; I lie down among those who burn, among the sons of men. Their teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongues are like sharp swords. 5. O God, be exalted above the heavens; may Your glory be exalted over all the earth. (1) Psalm 57:1-2 1. I will awaken the dawn. (5) Psalm 57:9 9. O Lord, I will give thanks to You among the peoples; I will praise You among the nations. (6) Hebrews 13:15 15. Therefore let us offer to God a sacrifice of praise always through Jesus, the fruit of lips that testify to His name.
