Extreme love for Vespa in Indonesia | VPRO Metropolis

Angga and Ani from Indonesia are extreme Vespa lovers. Within this subculture young, marihuana smoking Vespa fanatics ignore society’s rules as much as possible. Angga, Ani and their baby travel one hundred kilometres to a big festival in Karawang. At this event, fetterless riders and their revamped Vespa’s gather to enjoy eachother’s company, creations and the joyful reggae music. VPRO Metropolis is a video project by Dutch broadcast organization VPRO, that started in 2008. Metropolis is made by a global collective of young filmmakers and TV producers, reporting on remarkable stories from their own country or city.
