How to make your first D&D Character

A lot of new D&D players get overwhelmed by all the options when creating their first character. To help them I'm sharing the way I do it in an easy an approachable way. While there are online tools like D&D Beyond that make it super simple it is still good to understand the basics to know how your choices influence your game play.
