Tabla Touch Solo - Single dayan with immediate tuning

Kuljit Bhamra and his Keda Music team launched a prototype of their latest model TABLA TOUCH SOLO in Mumbai on 11 March 2024. A stand alone dayan (smaller drum) with a built in high quality speaker and two octave tuning range at the turn of a dial. Tabla Touch Solo can sit on a standard tabla cushion-ring alongside your bayan bass drum. Adjust volume and pitch immediately at the turn of a dial. Tabla Solo was first used in the UK in theatre show Bhangra Nation (Feb/Mar 2024) by tablaist Juggy Rihal - a role that would have previously required juggling 7 tablas tuned to different keys. At the same time (Mar 2024) the Solo was played in Mumbai by Amit Choubey at our Keda Music Product Showcase, attended by dignitaries and celebrities.
