Happy Calgary Stampede 2026! 🤠 Family Day is officially here, and we are taking you along for a full POV walkthrough of how we enjoyed FREE admission, free pancake breakfast, incredible food truck eats, and amazing live shows without breaking the bank! If you are planning a trip to the Stampede or trying to figure out the best way to beat the crowds, we've got you covered. In this vlog, we show you our exact transit strategy—parking for FREE at the Bridlewood-Somerset train station early at 7:35 AM and arriving right outside Stampede Park by 8:05 AM. Even though the morning lineup was long, it moved incredibly fast and the grounds weren't too crowded yet! The 18°C Calgary weather was absolutely perfect for exploring the midway rides, checking out the spectacular Stage of Wonders show, and trying out some epic Stampede food truck eats like ribbon fries, chicken popcorn, and classic Canadian poutine before heading back to our car by 1:30 PM.
