January 2024 - Dump Site for the ash and debris selection. 1/05/2024 - Phase 2 of cleanup begins (Ash and Debris Removal). 5/15/2024 - First Building Permit issued for a Lahaina Home. 9/11/2024 - Residential Cleanup of ash and debris completed. 11/22/2024 - First Home Completes Construction. 12/15/2024 - Maria Lanakila Catholic Church Reopens just before Christmas. 2/4/2025 - SMA Permit Exemption 2/25/2025 - Commercial Cleanup of ash and debris completed. 3/20/2025 - Front Street Piling Removal Begins. 4/24/2025 - Front Street Piling Removal Ends. 6/16/2025 - Debris Transfer from temporary dump site to permanent. 7/1/2025 - Lahaina Shores (first hotel) reopens to occupancy. #lahaina #lahainafire #maui #hawaii
