I went on a 4-night/5-day trip in Aomori Maine during the 2023 GW holiday. On the first day, we enjoyed Yamagata, including a visit to Yamadera Temple, and stayed overnight in Sendai. Lunch was cold-weather buckwheat noodles (assorted tempura) at "Taki Fudo Soba", one of the best restaurants in Yamadera, and dinner was at the famous restaurant "Tan-ya Zenjiro". On the second day, we entered Aomori. Enjoy scallop dishes in the Aomori Port area and check out Aspam. Visit Nebuta House Wa-Rasse and the produce market in the basement of Auga. Board the Hakkouda Maru for a taste of what the Hakkouda ferry was like back in the day, and go shopping at A-Factory. In the evening, you will dine at Daifukumaru, a tavern where you can experience the Tsugaru Shamisen and Nebuta Haneto. On the third day, you will take a drive to Tappizaki, a town in the Tsugaru Peninsula. Kaze no Machi Koryu Plaza Top Mast~Michi no Eki Tairazaki~Takanozaki~Seikan Tunnel Entrance Plaza~Tappizaki area. Stay overnight at the Tappizaki Hotel. On the 4th day, go along the Ryudomari line to Jusanko and try Shijimi Ramen. Visit the Tachineputa Museum in Goshogawara. Enjoyed Tsuru no Maihashi Bridge and stayed overnight in Morioka. Returned home the next day.
