The Hollow Earth is a disproven hypothesis that imagines Earth as an enormous shell containing a hidden inner world. In truth, I find this such an attractive theory simply due to its creative potential. Imagine what sorts of things you could find down there? Although this is now regarded as pseudoscience and sits more in the camp of a conspiracy theory than legitimate thought, there was a time when this was under serious consideration by some influential minds.
