Driving the car without allowing the new oil pan to cure, can cause oil leaks if driven less than 24 hours or before the new oil pan was installed and the gasket sealant to harden. Recommend driving the car no less than 24 hours to ensure proper seal before adding new oil to the new pan. Not adding fresh engine oil or a new oil filter.
