Yamaha XSR900 Steering Damper Install - Stop Tank Slappers!!

Join me today as I guide you through a step-by-step process for installing a steering damper on my 2022 Yamaha XSR 900. There is nothing worse than the thought of having a tank slapper whilst riding your bike; a steering damper is a surefire way to help avoid such a scary and very dangerous occurrence. This damper works on hydraulic oil being forced through small holes, much like a shock absorber. The damper was inexpensive; the model I installed was purchased from Chinese makers on eBay. I didn't think it would make such a huge difference to my riding peace of mind, but it really is worth investing in.
