President of Catarinense, Alexandre Bornschein Silva represents the fourth generation of the founding family and leads the challenge of guiding one of the most traditional pharmaceutical industries in the country during a time of transformation. A graduate in Business Administration from the São Paulo School of Business Administration of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV EAESP) and with an MBA in Finance, Auditing and Controlling, he has accumulated more than two decades of experience in the sector. He began his career with the company in 2001 as Supply Manager, moving through the Financial Directorate until assuming the presidency of the company in 2021. Since then, he has led a process of modernization and strategic repositioning that unites innovation, legacy and purpose, synthesized in the commitment to the purpose of being a source of health.
