Yes, as we already know, MK 1 was a TOTAL reboot of the MK saga, and if in the future the guys at NRS decide to continue exploring this new universe, we would have MANY opportunities, not only for new stories, but for new CHARACTERS! Yes, thanks to the fact that we've now had not 1, not 2, but 3 consecutive TIMELINES, Mortal Kombat is WITHOUT A DOUBT the fighting game series with the most extensive MYTHOLOGY to date! And while almost the entire story is told from the point of view of the PLAYABLE fighters, this saga has a HUGE number of SUPER obscure characters that, for one reason or another, we've NEVER been able to control! So today we'll be looking at 8 of them, who we NEED to see back in the series, whether as playable characters, as part of story events, or even as final bosses, and believe me, there are some real HIDDEN gems here… But since there are SO MANY "Secret" characters in this saga, this is only Part 1 of this thread, right? So expect a Part 2 VERY soon! That said, with issue 8 we meet Faceless One of the most well-known characters who debuted in a spinoff, but would later make it to the MK playable roster, is the brown ninja and earth elemental, Tremor! And while No Face, or Faceless, DEFINITELY doesn't have as many fans clamoring for his return as Tremor—in fact, I don't think ANYONE wants him around here—let's not forget that they were both born in the same litter. Yes, in the MK spin-off, Special Forces, Jax faces off against the Black Dragon organization and its leader, the DESPICABLE Kano. Of course, before reaching him, he has to fight all of his MINIONS, including several characters who debuted in that game, such as Tasia, Tremor, Jarek, and No Face himself! Tasia and Jarek were easily the least interesting of the group, but No Face, a hairless, earless, and noseless character, at least visually, would be an interesting addition to the cast, or at least could be considered a tribute to Voldemort from HP, BEFORE he existed. Although supposedly a mere human, No Face was a member of the Black Dragon, specializing in the use of flamethrowers and explosives. And while we've seen a LOT of characters who use weapons in the series, MK, THANK GOD, is still a saga focused on martial arts and magic, so a character like No Face would be an excellent addition to shake things up a bit, and that's not to mention that we could finally have a member of the Black Dragon, besides Kano, which is not embarrassing... True. By the way, this game, although I'm not going to lie to you, it's not very good, will be in the MK Legacy Kolection, which will be released next month, so if you want to check it out, at least
