An online social deduction game of truth and deception. The key to this game is the Death Note. The human whose name is written in this note shall die. Rules A maximum of 10 players will be split into 2 teams. Team Kira, who possesses the Death Note, and Team L, who will try to reveal Kira's identity and stop Kira from using it. Team Kira Use the Death Note to pass judgement on NPCs and Investigators. Eliminate "L" to win the game. In Team Kira, there’s “Kira" and a "Kira follower.” These two work together in secret to steal IDs from other players and eliminate them by using the Death Note. Team L Work together to arrest Kira and dispose of the Death Note. In Team L, there’s "L" and the “Investigators.” These players cooperate with each other and aim to reveal Kira's identity by sharing information. The game progresses through a cycle of "Action Phase”, in which each team completes their respective tasks, and a “Meeting Phase", where players come together to discuss and attempt to arrest Kira based on evidence gathered in the "Action Phase". Action Phase As Kira, you hold The Death Note and are the only one who can judge players. Kira Go and steal a player's ID Card to judge them However, in order to judge a player, you need an “ID card” with the player's real name. You can obtain this by approaching the target, but don’t act too suspicious. Judge Investigators and NPCs without getting caught. If you can judge "L," who is hiding amongst the Investigators, you win instantly. Kira Follower As “Kira Follower”, your job is to steal Investigator IDs for Kira. You can also communicate secretly with Kira via Transceiver. Additionally, The Death Note can be transferred between Kira and Kira follower. Make the transfer at the right time to deceive the other players. Both “L" and the "Investigators” must complete tasks to identify who Kira is. Investigator Some tasks entail asking NPCs for testimonials, which helps reveal information about Kira. “Investigators” look for clues to support L's deduction and help identify the real Kira. Take note of suspicious players who approach you. Be aware of suspicious players who get close to you. Your ID might get stolen if they are Kira or Kira follower. L Unlike normal investigators, “L” has special actions, such as commanding other players to investigate, and setting up surveillance cameras. Let's make good use of these actions and get closer to finding out who the real "Kira" is! Command Cards As each team raises their level, "Kira", "Kira Follower", and "L" are able to use “Command Cards” to start special events in the "Action Phase". Use these command cards wisely to achieve victory! Meeting Phase Utilize the chat system to share information about who you think Kira is. During the “Meeting Phase,” "L" can facilitate the discussion from the shadows. Players discuss via chat tools about suspicious behaviors and hints they’ve found during the Action Phase. Using these clues, vote on who you think Kira is and arrest them! If Kira is caught and the Death Note is disposed of, it’s a win for Team L. So, who will you trust?
