Slovenia’s Undefeated 72oz Rump Steak Challenge on My 39th Birthday!!

American professional eater Randy Santel versus West Saloon Steakhouse's undefeated 72oz Slovenian Rump Steak Challenge on his 39th birthday, hosted by West Saloon Steakhouse in Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia of Central Europe!! After finishing up my New England (USA) food challenge tour with ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬, we both flew over to Munich, Germany to begin a bus tour around major cities of Central Europe with my mom and sister. After that was finished up, I attempted ten (10) huge and delicious eating challenges in five different countries of Central Europe. For massive man vs food challenge #5, we headed to West Saloon Steakhouse in Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia so I could attempt to become just the first person to win their undefeated 72oz Slovenian Rump Steak Challenge. The challenge was first introduced in January 2025, and many people had tried to finish everything within the one hour (60 minutes) time limit, but no champions had been crowned before I got there. There are four ~1.1 lb Slovenian rump steaks that all total up to weigh 72oz (4.5lbs / 2kg). The steaks are served with 800 grams (1.75 lbs) of sides. I ordered 400 g of their fries / chips plus 400 g of their homemade delicious coleslaw. The 1L beer and pepper sauce featured in the video were optional and not required to be finished within the one hour time limit. I was trying to become just the first person to win my €150 Slovenian steak dinner free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on their empty Wall of Fame.
