Hiking on the Deer Trail. This is a 115km long hiking trail that runs through Central Ostrobothnia, Northern Ostrobothnia and Central Finland. Part of it also runs through Salamajärvi National Park. The website claims it is the second longest marked hiking trail in Finland. I myself start from Reisjärvi and walk almost half of the route to Lehtosenjärvi, where the Hirvaan tour begins.
